For those that lived their lives deaf or hearing impaired, they look almost the same as us, but they live a life unable to hear a single thing. They cannot enjoy the sounds of birds chirping while the sun rises. They cannot enjoy the sound of kids laughing in the playground. They cannot hear the sound of their loved ones say 'I Love You' to them. They missed a lot. But sometimes, do we even care? No. It's barely noticeable that they cannot hear, until you really talk to them. It's hard living their lives but do they complain? We, having the ability to hear, take this gift for granted. And we complain about pity matters such as not being able to buy the new headphones or getting the latest albums of out favourite artists. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY! Let's spend some time to think of what it'll be like in their shoes and appreciate our hearing ability and maybe, life would be better for us.
